I took a voiceover class at Voicetrax in Marin, CA. Actually, I started out with a workshop on a Saturday afternoon. I was asked to hold up a cartoon of a Pound Puppy and make up a voice for it while I read the copy. I LOVED IT! Not only did it make me feel like I was made of glitter inside but a total stranger even ran up to me after to tell me how good I was and that I should really pursue voiceover work.
Fast forward to almost 13 years later and I finally have my first commercial voiceover. Yes, I still love performing fun character voices (like Pound Puppies) but I can't wait to dive into the world of advertising. Since I also have a background in copywriting, it's interesting to see this all from the talent side of things.
With that said, my voiceover demo is now available and I will be auditioning for all sorts of work including commercials, radio, corporate videos, and more!
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you're filled with inspiration for your next party, your next look, or your next adventure. If you would like to get in touch about writing jobs or voiceover gigs please use the contact page. Cheers!
