The royal wedding is in less than a week away and that means you only have a few days to come up with the perfect cocktail menu for that viewing party I know you're throwing. So unless you're heading to the Royal Wedding Pub, a pop-up bar in Washington D.C. that's busy serving up their signature drink: The Markle Sparkle (a twist on an Aperol spritz with rose cider and edible glitter), we have a feeling you need a few recipe ideas. Create a fun and flirty cocktail for the occasion because what else are your guests going to toast to every time Harry & Meghan pop up on your TV/computer/phone screens on May 19th? #cheers

Happily Ever After
(the conrad, Dublin, Ireland)

1.5 parts Beefeater Pink Gin
0.5 parts fresh lemon juice
0.5 parts simple syrup
1 egg white
0.5 parts Rhubarb and Ginger Liqueur
Sparkling Rose wine

Method: In a cocktail shaker, combine gin, lemon, simple syrup, egg white and Rhubarb and Ginger liqueur. Shake until egg white is completely mixed in. Add ice and shake again. Strain into a champagne glass and top with sparkling rose.

Fun Fact: The cocktailโ€™s base is Beefeater Pink Gin, which will be served at the Royal Wedding, mixed with Rhubarb and Ginger Liqueur โ€“ Rhubarb is a long-standing favorite of the Royal Family and the ginger honors Harryโ€™s red hair. The drink is later topped with Sparkling Rose, Meghan Markleโ€™s drink of choice in Suits.

(The Netherlands)

1.5 oz. NOLETโ€™S Silver Gin
2 Strawberries
0.5 oz. Rhubarb Syrup (1 c. Rhubarb, 1 c. Sugar, 1 c. Water simmered and cooled)
0.5 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
1 oz. Dolin Blanc Vermouth
1 Egg White
3 Drops Bitters

Method: In a mixing tin, muddle the strawberries with syrup and lemon juice. Add remaining ingredients and shake well without ice. Fill with ice and shake again for 25 seconds. Double strain into a chilled Coupe glass.

(Washington, D.C.)

1 ounce One Eight Distilling Untitled No. 3 Gin
1 ounce chamomile honey syrup*
.5 ounce pear brandy
3 dashes baked apple bitters
Top with 5 ounces Earl Grey tea
Dehydrated pear for garnish

Method: Preheat glass with hot water; build ingredients in glass excluding the tea; after ingredients are mixed, add 5 ounces hot Earl Grey tea; stir. Garnish with dehydrated pear.

*Chamomile Honey Syrup

12 ounces honey
12 ounces water
15 grams chamomile

Add chamomile to hot water on stove and whisk in honey until fully incorporated. Strain and let cool.

THE PRINCESS AND THE TEA
(Seattle, WA)

1.75 ounces Absolute Vodka
.25 ounce Creme de Violette
.75 ounces Chamomile Syrup*
.75 ounces lemon juice
2 dashes Bitter Truth Lemon Bitters

Method: Shake, Double Strain into a teacup and saucer โ€“ garnish with loose chamomile tea.

*Chamomile Syrup

2 cups sugar
3 cups water
1/2 cup loose chamomile tea

Method: Bring sugar and water to boil and then cover and simmer with chamomile for 20 minutes. Strain out everything and refrigerate.

Royal wedding cocktail (NYC)

1 oz tea-infused gin
.75 oz simple syrup
.75 oz fresh lemon juice
Muddled mint
1 dash celery bitters (optional!)
Champagne to top

Method: Infuse the Royal Wedding tea in gin for 1-2 hours. Strain out the solids and mix the tea-infused gin, simple syrup, lemon juice, and bitters in a shaker.Add mint and muddle it at the bottom of the shaker. Add ice, shake, and strain into champagne glasses. Top with champagne and garnish with mint and a lemon peel. Drink with some cake. :)

1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
1 3/4 cup simple syrup
1 ounce gin
1 ounce vodka
1 ounce Elderflower Liqueur
2 ounces homemade sweet and sour
Lime wedges

H.M. Windsor
(Chicago, IL)

1 ounce High West Double Rye Whiskey
.25 ounce
.75 ounce Earl Grey syrup
.25 ounce lemon juice
2 dashes lemon bitters
5 ounces Earl Grey tea, to top

Method: Build in punch glass, top with steeped Earl Grey tea and stir. Garnish with a lemon wedge.

royal wedding gin fizz
(Britain, UK)

1 oz. club soda
2 oz. gin
1 oz. Lemon juice
3โ„4 oz. Simple syrup
1 Egg white (about .5 oz.)

Method: Add the club soda to a Fizz or Collins glass and set aside. Add the remaining ingredients to a shaker and shake without ice for about 10 seconds. Add 3 or 4 ice cubes and shake very well. Double-strain into the prepared glass.

1 oz Elderflower Liquor
ยผ oz fresh lemon juice
4 oz sparkling RUFFINO Prosecco
Rosemary Sprig
Lemon Slice

Fun Fact: The elderflower liquor is a nod to Harry & Meghan's wedding cake. London-based Violet Bakery will make a lemon elderflower cake with buttercream frosting and decorated with fresh flowers.
