Noosa Launches #flavorfindercontest!
Raise your hand if you love Noosa. 🙋
The Colorado-based yoghurt company is looking for new flavors and guess what? They're putting a call out to hire five passionate foodies to uncover the next big food trend in America. Yep, all you have to do is upload an original food photo to Instagram or Twitter that represents your dream Noosa flavor along with a caption that describes your foodie flavor inspiration. Feel free to throw in a carton of Noosa too! And don't forget to tag @noosayoghurt and use the hashtag #flavorfindercontest to officially enter. Don't have social media? No worries! Upload a photo directly to the Noosa website with a caption and you'll be in the running, too.
The best part? The five lucky winners will be flown to beautiful Bellvue, Colorado for an all-expense paid trip to the Noosa farm! They'll also receive $2,000 to fund delicious food adventures all summer long. As Koel Thomae, co-founder of Noosa says, "I’m excited to help fellow food lovers fund their own flavor journeys and cannot wait to see what they discover. I have the best job on earth because I get to travel the globe and scour food halls, grocery stores, cafes, and restaurants eating delicious food to help inspire noosa innovations. My global flavor treks have resulted in fun and unique flavors like blackberry serrano, raspberry habanero, pear & cardamom and strawberry & hibiscus.”
I pretty much put Noosa in everything from smoothies and parfaits to mashed potatoes and pancakes (yep, you read that correctly). One trick to a good protein pancake is you need equal parts yoghurt, eggs, and oatmeal (about 1/2 cup each). Blend together and voila, you've got a protein pancake warming up in a skillet. I add a bit of almond butter on top instead of syrup. You can even throw in some flaxseed or chia seeds before blending if you want to get more rich antioxidants into your diet.
So, what are you waiting for? Go upload a photo so you can win the chance to become an official Flavor Finder for Noosa! You only have until April 20th so hurry up! I chose Everything Bagel flavor - mainly because I love bagels. Also because I think it could be a great flavor to cook with (think sauces for meat and chicken).
