Sláinte! 10 St. Patrick's Day Cocktail Recipes

🍀 O'Donnell. Farrell. MacGruber. 🍀

Okay, not so sure about the third guy, but the first two are definitely Irish men. And I bet you these studs from the Emerald Isle are going to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with some Guinness (or a least a green beer). Drink like Chris, or Colin, or MacGruber (side note: just discovered that MacGruber is actually his first name and his last name is ironically...McGyver). So raise a glass to the land o' the Irish and create one of these fine cocktail recipes. Because it's definitely better to make an Irish exit when you're already home. #eringobragh 🍻


The Irish Mule - Courtesy of The Roof

  • 1.5 oz Jameson black barrel Irish whiskey
  • .5 oz Fresh lime juice
  • 3 oz Ginger beer

Served over crushed ice in a copper mule mug.

  • 1.5 oz Crop Cucumber vodka
  • 1.5 oz Liquiteria All Greens juice blend
  • 1.5 oz Apple juice
  • .25 oz Lemon juice

Shake and pour into rocks glass over ice. Garnish with a cucumber fan.

  • 1 oz. Hendricks gin
  • .75 oz. Green Chartreuse
  • .75 oz. Luxardo maraschino liqueur
  • .75 oz. Fresh lime juice

Shake and strain into coupe glass. No garnish.

 

Emerald Gimlet - Courtesy of Beauty & Essex

  • 2 oz Ketel One Vodka
  • .75 oz Lime juice
  • .5 oz Lemon simple syrup
  • 3 Big basil leaves

Muddle basil with ice. Add simple syrup, lime juice, vodka. Shake and strain.

 

The Teeling Whiskey Irish Coffee

  • 1 ½ fl oz Teeling Irish Whiskey Small Batch
  • 4 fl oz Freshly Brewed, Robust Coffee
  • ½ fl oz Spiced Stout Syrup 
  • Orange Zested Cream

Garnish: Freshly Grated Nutmeg

Suggested Glassware: Hot Drinks Glass

Directions: Preheat glass with some warm water and discard, add the Teeling Whiskey, stout syrup, brewed coffee and stir to combine. Warm a large spoon and gently pour the cream over the back of the spoon and ontothe coffee.

  • 1.5oz Teeling Single Grain Irish Whiskey 
  • 1.5oz Kerrygold Irish Cream Liqueur
  • .75oz Borghetti Liqueur 
  • .5oz Grand Marnier

Directions: Shake and strain into a highball. Garnish with an orange slice

  • 1.5oz Kerrygold Irish Cream Liqueur 
  • 1oz Teeling Small Batch Irish whiskey 
  • .5oz Brancamenta 
  • .5oz Creme de Cacao 

Directions: Shake lightly and strain over crushed ice. Garnish with mint and shaved chocolate

  • 5 Basil leaves
  • .5 oz Basil infused simple Syrup
  • .75oz Green Chartreuse 
  • .75oz Lime Juice
  • 1.5 oz Tequila reposado 

Muddle basil leaves with the lime juice. Add remaining ingredients, shake, strained into a absinthe sprayed coup with a basil leaf for garnish.

Swizzle Me Irish -

In a glass shaker, add all ingredients, add ice and shake and strain over crushed ice. Garnish with Kiwi wheel and a pineapple leaf.

  • 1 oz. Tequila
  • .75 oz Agave
  • .75 oz Lime
  • .5 oz Fresh pressed kale juice

Shake and pour over ice. Garnish with citrus wheels.
