Friend of the Week: Meghan Tucker
1. Fancy Advertising Lady.
2. Hair Color Chameleon.
4. Proud owner of Eddie, the cutest dog currently living it up in Jersey.
What's a day in the life of Meghan Tucker like?
These days, it starts with trying to convince our dog, Eddie, it's time to get up. Then, it's a walk around the block and if it's M-F, off to work. If i'm feeling jazzy I'll stop for an iced chai or matcha tea.
Evenings are usually spent at home, with a trip to the dog park or gym if I wasn't able to go during the morning or day. I'm insanely lucky that my future husband likes to cook (or is just scared of what I'll do) so I get a pretty darn tasty meal to end each day.
What are your nicknames?
Tucker. Megh. The tall blonde one.
What's your greatest attribute?
I've been told I give good advice.
Favorite thing about living in NYC/NJ?
My favorite thing about living CLOSE to NYC is the culture and people. I love that I will see so many different personalities, styles and attitudes in one city block. I also love that we have the best of the best - if it's being talked about, you can find it in NYC.
I moved to Jersey City almost two years ago, and really have nothing bad to say. I love living in a place that is evolving and becoming better each day. And no sales tax!
one kind of food and drink for the rest of your life. Go!
Mexican. Love me some guac!
What's something that most people don't know about you?
That I wish I was better at small talk. I just can't get myself to gab it up with people I don't know well!
You're getting married this fall! What are you most looking forward to about you upcoming wedding?
So many things! Having all my friends and family in one place. Getting to celebrate this day we've been planning for over a year. Saying "I Do" to my favorite person.
What's your signature style?
Understated trends, clean lines and a mostly neutral palette is what I strive and gravitate towards. And if I could wear sneakers every day, I'd be pretty darn happy.
Funniest moment with me that you can remember?
Most recently - getting caught in an insane downpour without an umbrella after stupidly deciding to leave probably the most perfect place to watch fireworks. Ugh/LOL.
Central Park, Halloween and Christmas sweater dance party at Janice's apartment also come to mind...
First bucket list item that comes to mind?
Visit every continent.
If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
