Vote For The Cocktail Party: 5 Election-Themed Drinks

In hopes that my absentee ballot actually made it to California (yes, I've lived in NYC for 7 years and I still don't have a NY State license), the night has finally arrived to discover which candidate will definitely be going grey first. Cheers to this "nasty" election finally being over - I'm done and officially voting for The Cocktail Party.

The Donald

In a cocktail shaker, squeeze a half of a lime into a glass and drop lime into glass. Add the Reàl Infused Syrup and Tito’s Handmade Vodka. Top with ice and shake vigorously. Add the ginger beer and roll contents. Pour into a copper mug.

Pour all of the ingredients except the soda water into an ice-filled Collins glass, stir, and top with the soda water. Garnish with a lemon wheel.

*Honey syrup: Heat equal parts honey and water in a small saucepan, and stir until the honey is completely dissolved. Cool and store refrigerated for up to 1 week.

  • 1½ oz. Dolin Vermouth Blanc (Martini & Rossi or Cinzano Bianco are fine substitutes)
  • 1 barspoon orange Curaçao or Grand Marnier
